Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Rollercoaster comes crashing down for a second straight outing. Todd Jones blew his second save and is now 0-3 on the year. Jones wasted a great start from Kenny Rogers who only gave up a single run in seven innings. Joel Zumaya continued to pitch well with his 13 hold on the year with a scoreless eighth. Kevin Youkilis hit a two run homer off the Rollercoaster to erase the 2-1 lead in the ninth.

Detroit got to Schilling in the first inning scoring on back-to-back doubles by Polanco and Thames. The Tigers added their second run in the fifth by stringing together three singles by Monroe, Wilson and Polanco. Rogers and Schilling battled in a pitcher dual until the unfortunate end for the Tigers. Rogers only allowed a single run in the fourth on a RBI single by Manny Ramirez. After Jones blew the save Papelbon came on for his 20th save on the season.
